Frequently Asked Questions

Below we have hopefully answered your questions, however please do Get in Touch if you cannot find what you are looking for.

TICKETS

Q: Where are tickets sent to?

A: All tickets are purchased through Eventbrite and will be emailed directly to the email address used for booking. You do not need to print your ticket- just show us from your phone on arrival & we will tick you off the list & give you a wristband.

Q: Will we be able to purchase tickets on the gate?

A: If the event is sold out, you may purchase a ticket on the day at our welcome tent.

Q: Can my tickets be refunded if I am unable to attend on the day?

A: Tickets are non-refundable & non-returnable however you may give your ticket to another person if you are unable to make it. Please let us know in advance.

VENUE & PARKING

Q: Is there parking at the festival?

A: Unless you require disabled parking, there is no parking available on site. We encourage festival go-ers to walk, take the bus or cycle, where possible.

Q: What area of Caversham Court does the festival take place in?

A: The festival takes place on the top lawn of Caversham Court. The welcome tent will be located above the stairs (disabled access along the path by the wall). The rest of Caversham Court will be open to the public that day, including the tea kiosk.

DISABLED ACCESS

Q: What are the disability access options at the festival?

A: There is disabled parking at the main gates in Church Road, from where there is wheelchair access to & around Caversham Court including the disabled toilets. If you have particular needs, get in touch with us in advance. We will do our best to help.

Q: What are the ticketing arrangements for carers?

A: We have an option on our ticketing system for those with disabilities, meaning that a carer can accompany them with that specific ticket.

Q: What support will be available for disabled access into classes/talks etc.?

A: We try to make the classes as accessible as possible, although some very dynamic classes may not be appropriate to take part in. Depending on the nature of the session & disability, we can provide a chair/appropriate seating. Please let a volunteer & the instructor know of any requirements before the session begins.

AT THE FESTIVAL

Q: Will water be available on site?

A: There is water access at the tea kiosk in Caversham Court, right next to the festival site. We strongly advise you bring your own water and refill during the festival. We will not be selling any bottled water in plastic bottles at the festival.

Q: Can I bring alcohol into the site?

A: No alcohol can be brought on site. We have a strict no alcohol policy at the festival for a number of reasons. The main one is for health and safety: many of our teachers’ insurance policies do not cover them if alcohol is available before or after a class.

Q: Will there be any covered areas if it rains?

A: There are a number of covered areas – the cafe, the 2 main marquees, the creative nest marquee, the healing areas and the stalls themselves will have shelter.

Q: Will I be able to re-enter the site if I leave during the day?

A: Yes, provided that you collect your wristband on arrival.

Q: Will there be seating?

A: There will be some seating in the café area- you are also welcome to bring your own seating but please be mindful of others in the same space.

Q: Will there be yoga mats and other props?

A: There will be some mats available but we highly recommend bringing your own. For classes in the medium marquee there will be some props available.

Q: Is there a central meeting point?

A: The welcome tent is the information point at the Festival, which you can use as a meeting point and lost child point. You can also leave messages there for other festival-goers.

Q: Are there any cash points on the festival site?

A: We don’t have a cash point in Caversham Court Gardens, however Barclays Bank is a few minutes away from the site, down Church Road. Nationwide Bank and Tesco Express also have cash points and are close to the vicinity.

Q: Will there be a secure place to store items or lockers available?

A: Due to the nature of this being a small festival, we are unable to provide secure storage for ticket-holders. Please be mindful of your belongings as ELF cannot take responsibility for any lost or stolen items. The lost property point is at the Welcome tent.
