Are you yearning for a weekend in the wild?
Our community is in the heart of nature; a farm on the edge of the woods, only a stone’s throw away from the River Thames. We invite you to walk with us through the forest and discover the wisdom of plants through foraging, wild cooking and hemp workshops. Receive the nourishment of the earth through wholesome hemp-inspired food and be immersed in the cool, natural river waters.
Our cosy tipi is a magical way to welcome the evening, round the fire, sharing songs over a warm cup of raw cacao. Let your body and voice be energised by the elemental gifts of this earth, through guided movement, sound journeys and the stillness between each breath.

This gathering takes place just before the Autumn Equinox; a time of balance, when day and night are of equal lengths. We are invited to reflect, gather our harvests and take stock of everything we have manifested so far. Let’s celebrate the fruits of this year and give gratitude to the earth for its wisdom and abundance.
About the site –
Hempen Co-operative
Hempen is situated on a farm on Hardwick Estate and is surrounded by woodland, meadows and farm animals. The River Thames is 20 minutes walk away.
All classes will take place outdoors, either under the stretch tent, in the woods or river… somewhere in nature.
Come and join us in this beautiful, wild sanctuary.
Accommodation & Facilities
You will need to bring your own tent for sleeping or you can stay in your own live-in vehicle for a small fee (limited space). Please also bring your own mug, plate, cutlery and head torch.
Facilities include compost toilets, a compost shower and an outdoor bath in the woods, (how’s that for forest bathing?!)
Food
Meals are provided, all cooked from scratch by our onsite chef and volunteers. The menu will be a mixture of healthy, plant-based food, including lots of hemp-inspired recipes & home grown veg from our garden! 100% vegan.
All food, classes and pitch are included in price.

Super early bird – £195 (until end of March)
Early bird – £235 (until end of July)
Standard – £265
Live-in vehicle pass (no electrical hook up) – extra £25 for the weekend (4 available)
